Job Summary
Conduct detailed analysis across the capital structure of firms and screen for debt and equity investment opportunities in public and private markets. Evaluate a firm's business model, competitiveness, and industry viability while actively monitoring existing portfolio assets. Manage processes related to investments in private securities and restructurings, and foster relationships with company management. Collaborate with team members responsible for both corporate and sovereign analysis to understand issues driving company valuations. Attend industry conferences and travel to visit companies under coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 1-5 years of investment management, investment banking, consulting or relevant industry experience
- Experience in financial modeling and capital structure analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- exposure/interest in coding in Python, R or another language
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic record
- Foreign language skills and/or experience living, studying or working abroad, particularly in EMEA or Asia
- Attendance at industry conferences
