Job Summary

Establish and control processes and budgets for new product development projects, fully managing alignment with company needs while providing guidance with minimal direct input. Lead product development through planning, execution, and management to achieve strategic objectives, driving consensus for key recommendations among department leads. Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure milestones and deliverables are met per plan, contribute to portfolio strategic decisions, and provide mentorship to junior project leads. Make financially responsible decisions and effectively communicate periodic updates to all levels of management.

Required Qualifications

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time and project management skills with attention to detail, and the ability to plan and prioritize work and balance multiple projects
  • Use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools effectively
  • Excellent knowledge of applicable regulations and standards, both FDA and international
  • Strong scientific/technical writing ability
  • Managing and implementing multiple projects in exemplary fashion
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast paced organization
  • Capable of cross collaboration with other department and providing strategic insight that indicates an enterprise-wide mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering discipline
  • 12+ years of experience, preferably with medical devices
  • Minimum 3+ years of managerial experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in new product development
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time
  • Occasionally move about inside the office and travel to and from office buildings to access file cabinets, employee offices, office machinery, etc. This may include, but is not limited to, bending and walking
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer printer, computer keyboard, calculator, etc.
  • Ability to listen and speak with employees and vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • View and type on computer screens for long periods of time
