Job Summary
Senior Research Analyst in the Private Company Research team responsible for building and leading coverage of private disruptors in Space & Defense Tech. Conduct fundamental company and industry research using traditional and alternative data sources; evaluate emerging technologies and business models; build and maintain financial models to track dynamics; write research notes on covered companies and sectors; develop relationships with internal/external clients, industry experts, and management teams; coach and train junior analysts. Requires 8+ years in equity/credit analysis, strong communication, deep knowledge of Aerospace & Defense Tech, and proficiency with analytical tools (Excel, Python, Bloomberg); FINRA Series 86/87 and/or CFA. Located in New York, NY; full-time senior-level role with opportunities to market differentiated research products and contribute to client insights.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in sell-side or buy-side research as an equity/credit analyst or strategist
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Passion for and understanding of emerging technologies
- Track record of building strong relationships with investors and company management
- Experience and relationships in the Aerospace & Defense Tech industry
- Advanced proficiency in analytical, data, and market tools (e.g., Excel, Python, Bloomberg)
- FINRA licenses Series 86 and Series 87 and/or CFA
