Job Summary
Senior Cost Basis Representative responsible for cost basis research, lot cost updates, and explaining cost basis calculations to institutional and retail clients by phone; analyzes complex positions, performs cost basis adjustments, and supports IRS Form 1099 reporting while aiming to improve client experience. Requires knowledge of IRS cost basis regulations and the ability to communicate them clearly, with emphasis on accurate tax reporting and client service in a high-volume environment. 1-3 years in financial services and inbound call center experience preferred; strong analytical and customer service skills are essential. Base salary range is $44,000-$80,000 per year with potential bonus/variable compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
