Senior Reporting Analyst

Job Summary

Prepare high-quality, accurate, and timely consolidated financial statements and schedules by applying U.S. GAAP and managing monthly financial close processes from journal entries through review. Drive reconciliation of intercompany balances, maintain consolidation accounting policies and controls, and produce monthly financial analysis of key accounts for business unit decision-making. Partner with multiple accounting teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of reports for external investors, banks, and auditors while utilizing software like Planful, Hyperion, SAP, and Workday. Assist with tax planning and compliance, and influence strategic development for future business needs. This role supports Lifestyle Communities' Finance team in identifying opportunities to drive value through product innovation and margin enhancement.

Required Qualifications

  • CPA certification preferred
  • 3-5 combined years of public accounting and/or industry experience (public company preferred)
  • Sound technical accounting and reporting acumen
  • Understanding of internal control concepts
  • Experience with consolidation tools (Planful, Hyperion, SAP, Workday)
  • Strong organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to manage numerous projects/deliverables simultaneously against set deadlines
  • Energetic, can-do attitude, forward-thinking leader and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology driven, vertically integrated structure leveraging a collaborative management team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks in an accurate and thorough manner
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business discipline required
  • Two (2) to Four (4) years professional/public accounting experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Location and Travel: This position will be based in Columbus, Ohio with minimal travel to local and out of state markets including but not limited to Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, and Florida

  • Additional education or certification in accounting field desired but not required
