Job Summary
Manage challenging technical projects from investigation through construction, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, and profitability while leveraging existing knowledge to expand firm capabilities. Lead junior staff and subcontractors, developing work plans, evaluating data, and preparing technical reports, letters, and proposals. Drive vehicles to client sites for multi-media environmental sampling, drilling oversight, and remediation system operations. Prepare for meetings with clients and regulatory personnel, ensuring adherence to IEPA and USEPA regulations. Requires a P.E., 8+ years of environmental consulting experience, and valid U.S. driver's license. Hybrid schedule with potential overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred)
- Professional registration (i.e., P.E.)
- At least 8 years of direct environmental consulting experience preferably in the Midwest marketplace
- Detailed understanding IEPA and USEPA regulations
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams
- Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
- Field work and overnight travel may be required
Desired Qualifications

- Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers
