Senior Remediation Construction Manager - Mining

Job Summary
Lead construction management for environmental, civil, and decommissioning projects in the western US, spanning planning, permitting, design, and procurement phases. Develop and manage budget plans and schedules, conduct feasibility studies for bid solicitations, and provide specialist advice on constructability, cost evaluations, and sequencing. Lead execution of complex reporting strategies, interpret project trends, and manage client relationships while ensuring operational compliance with regulatory codes. Collaborate on proposal preparation and interview coordination, and develop internal knowledge-sharing processes to capture best practices. Work three days a week in-office or at project sites across Fresno, San Luis Obispo, and Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and management experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience as Construction Manager and/or Resident Engineer on multiple simultaneous construction projects
- Experience with web based document management systems
- This position can be located anywhere in the western US
- Projects are anticipated in California between Fresno and northern Los Angeles
- GHD has nearby offices in Fresno, San Luis Obispo, and Los Angeles
- Join us in the office or at a project site three days a week
- Remote options may be available based on location of the applicant
Desired Qualifications
- CCM certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus, although not required
