Job Summary
Senior Reliability Software Engineer leading design and reliability initiatives for IEC62304-aligned medical device software. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to evaluate potential failure modes and hazards, prioritize safety risks, and implement risk controls. Leads hands-on reliability testing, participates in requirements/design reviews, and drives process improvements. Develops reusable patterns and mentors quality engineers to increase team velocity. Requires leadership, strong communication, and experience in regulated industries with Agile and Test-Driven Development; proficient in C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, C#, .NET, Python, Angular, or Xamarin.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant technical experience, or advanced degree with 2 years of technical experience
- Strong Leadership, mentoring and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency working in a team environment
- Experience in software design for regulated industries
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development
- Proficiency in two or more of: C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, C#, .NET, Python, Angular, Xamarin
