Job Summary
Senior Reliability Engineer responsible for leading risk management activities across the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio, including Health Risk Assessments, post-market surveillance, CAPA investigations, and design-control alignment. The role involves owning FMEAs/DFMEAs, responding to regulatory inquiries, producing Periodic Safety Update Reports, analyzing reliability data, guiding cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions, and coaching junior engineers. Strong technical writing and communication skills are required, with expertise in ISO 14971 risk management, RCA techniques, and medical device design controls. This onsite role (minimum 4 days/week) emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and delivering high-reliability products. Location: Mounds View, Minnesota, USA. Must be able to work within U.S. work authorization framework as outlined by Medtronic, with travel <10% and a focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or a related technical discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
