Job Summary
Senior Reliability Engineer responsible for leading quality and reliability activities for Medtronic Cardiac Ablation Solutions products. Provides technical leadership across risk management, post-market surveillance, and CAPA; drafts responses to regulatory inquiries; guides Health Risk Assessments, DFMEA/PSURs, and design verification; mentors junior engineers; collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement design/process/supplier changes and drive product reliability. Requires strong written/verbal communication, ability to lead root-cause investigations, and familiarity with ISO 14971 and ISO 13485. Role is onsite with a minimum of four days per week in the office, limited travel (less than 10%), and U.S. work authorization sponsorship available only for Principal-level roles and above.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with ISO 14971 risk management
- Experience with design control and FMEAs (DFMEA, PFMEA)
- Experience in post-market activities and regulatory inquiries
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
