Job Summary
Senior Reliability Engineer needed to lead optical component reliability qualification programs for InP and SiP chips. Responsibilities include reliability assessment and ageing analysis of optoelectronic components, definition and implementation of qualification programs, customer-facing reliability documentation based on physics-of-failure, and close collaboration with chip design, process, product, and quality teams for root-cause investigations and data-driven reliability conclusions.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or similar related discipline
- Minimum 5 years experience in Semiconductor Optoelectronics
- Experience in optoelectronic component reliability and qualification
- Program definition, planning and implementation for reliability qualification
- Knowledge of failure modes in lasers, photodetectors, modulators, resistors, waveguides and fiber coupling
- Hands-on experience with accelerated life testing and life-prediction using reliability modeling
- Experience with Design for Reliability, FMEA, and FTA frameworks
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Experience with root-cause analysis using techniques like EL, FIB, SEM/TEM, EDX
- Experience with tools like RELISoft/Weibull++, JMP, Minitab, Python
- Experience with COMSOL or Ansys for reliability design
- Experience deploying Machine Learning models for large reliability datasets
- Willingness to travel worldwide
