Job Summary
Coordinate backend engineering teams responsible for Pricing platforms serving multiple countries, ensuring scalable, reliable, and high-quality deliveries. Drive execution across pods, act as a facilitator for agile ceremonies, and partner with Product and Architecture teams to define evolving solutions. Support developers through career growth feedback, promote engineering excellence via best practices in observability and reliability, and perform hands-on monitoring, code reviews, and deployments. Ensure systems are designed for scale and resiliency in distributed microservices environments while fostering a culture of ownership and DevOps mindset.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related fields
- Previous experience leading backend engineering teams
- Strong experience with Java ecosystem and backend development
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic or similar)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, system integration and event-driven architectures
- Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns and best practices
- Experience with testing strategies (unit, integration, automation, performance)
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

- Experience with pricing, e-commerce or financial domains
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience influencing technical decisions across multiple teams
