Job Summary
Senior Release Engineer to build and improve tooling, dashboards, and workflows that keep software releases on track in massive-scale cloud storage environments. You will track release health, assist with commit approvals, coordinate validation gates and dependencies, improve release automation, maintain release artifacts and documentation, and partner with Engineering Release Manager and cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, QA) to drive release readiness and customer readiness. Strong scripting/programming (Python/Golang), experience with CI/CD, release dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration are required. This is an in-office role based in the Santa Clara, CA area.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience using Python, Golang, or related programming languages
- Experience supporting software release processes, including release readiness, milestone tracking, risk identification, and cross-functional coordination
- Experience building or working with release tooling and operational workflows such as CI/CD pipelines, release dashboards, artifact/version management, tagging, signing, or similar automation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent industry experience
