Job Summary
Senior Relationship Manager in Mercer’s Voluntary Benefits team, a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at least three days per week. Lead a large to mid-sized book of business across industries, develop sales and retention strategies, deliver customized product and solution recommendations, address escalated issues, and actively engage client networks. Build and nourish relationships with client organizations, participate in industry events to expand the professional network, and collaborate with Mercer teams to drive client success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Voluntary Benefits subject matter experience required
- 5+ years’ experience as a Consultant with background in Client Management or Sales (Large Clients)
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Current Life/Health License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Strong collaboration and team-focused skills (relationship building and fostering with Mercer Health & Benefits and Voluntary Benefits colleagues)
