Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive loan evaluations and credit analyses to assess borrower creditworthiness and structure financing solutions for Mid-Market SME clients. Drive new-to-bank acquisition and portfolio growth by originating opportunities through personal networks, lead generation, and strategic partnerships while achieving agreed financial targets. Independently monitor early warning signals and coordinate remediation actions to uphold strict adherence to internal credit policies, KYC/AML standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with Credit Risk and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and measurable conversion outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5–10 years in SME/Mid-Market commercial banking
- Experience in large local corporate segments
- Established business network
- Proven track record in acquiring new business
- Strong understanding of working capital
- Strong understanding of trade finance
- Strong understanding of unsecured term lending
- Knowledge of covenants
- Knowledge of collateral
- Knowledge of documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions
- Solid knowledge of KYC/AML requirements
- Knowledge of MAS-aligned regulatory standards
- Knowledge of sales governance
- Knowledge of audit remediation practices
