Job Summary
Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients by conducting thorough financial analysis, due diligence, and credit risk monitoring. Structure and negotiate complex financing deals, including loans, trade finance, and treasury products, while collaborating with stakeholders to cross-sell services and maximize wallet share. Prepare credit proposals and business reviews for senior management and credit committees, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements such as AML/CFT. Maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and tailored financial advice to expand the client base and increase market share within the Malaysian corporate banking sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate banking or relationship management
- Proven track record of managing and growing a client portfolio
- Strong understanding of corporate financial products and services, including loans, trade finance, treasury, and cash management
- Excellent credit analysis skills
- Ability to structure complex financing solutions
- Proven ability to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian corporate banking market and regulatory environment
