Job Summary
Senior Commercial Relationship Manager responsible for originating commercial loans within defined risk parameters, and for managing and growing an assigned portfolio of business borrowers and credit-union relationships. The role focuses on high-quality loan origination, relationship retention, and delivering value through loans and related credit and non-credit products. Key duties include originating new opportunities, expanding the portfolio, developing business via referrals and community engagement, representing the organization at events, providing initial credit recommendations aligned with underwriting standards, partnering with internal teams to ensure a seamless origination and servicing experience, maintaining strong borrower and partner communication throughout the loan lifecycle, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and mentoring junior lending staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Formal sales or credit training required
- 7–10 years of commercial lending experience
- Strong relationship management, credit judgment, and business development skills
