Job Summary
Manage customer relationships by identifying financial needs, recommending products, conducting outreach, and processing transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and checks. Oversee branch operations in the Assistant Branch Manager's absence, handling opening and closing procedures, vault management, weekly and monthly audits, and cash shipments. Mentor Relationship Bankers until they achieve mastery of core functions while ensuring compliance with BSA regulations and internal policies. Maintain accurate documentation and system entry for consumer and business accounts, CDs, and ancillary products.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of three years of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a teller or banking environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Obtain Notary Public commission within the first year of employment
- Strong mathematical aptitude with experience handling cash and working with numbers
- exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently and build relationships with a diverse range of clients and colleagues
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and dependable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to use sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to effectively address client needs while considering the Bank's objectives
- Proficient in computer software and internet-based applications, with the ability and willingness to learn and develop banking industry knowledge and skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, foster strong relationships, and contribute to shared goals
- Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and at multiple market locations as required
