Job Summary
Senior Relationship Banker in Hunt Valley leads proactive customer outreach to identify needs and sell banking solutions through branch sales processes. Responsibilities include developing new customer relationships and expanding existing ones, conducting relationship management activities (customer assessments, profiling for sales opportunities, account opening, lead-focused outbound calling), managing the sales process (planning, outreach, appointments, follow-up), risk management (audit requirements, fraud prevention, KYC/CIP), evaluating financing requests, and presenting a broad suite of banking products and services (mortgage/HELOC, business banking, TM and Merchant Services). The role emphasizes collaboration with internal partners, community networking, and building relationships with Centers of Influence to drive referrals and achieve annual branch sales goals. Education/experience include a high school diploma or GED with 2–3 years of relevant sales or customer-service experience; bilingual capability is a branch need.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- minimum of 3 years proven retail sales, call center, customer service and/or telesales experience OR minimum of 2 years proven proactive sales experience
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service
- Well organized with time management and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated financial services product knowledge
- Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy with internal and external customers
- Proficient with internet user-level technology
