Senior Relationship Advisor

Manage an assigned base of sophisticated wealth management clients by collaborating with client service teams and professional advisors to develop thorough understandings of client needs and goals. Lead conversations focused on goals-driven wealth management, providing proactive guidance on products, emerging issues, and regulatory changes while translating complex concepts into clear language. Leverage extensive knowledge of fiduciary standards to identify relationship enhancement opportunities and maintain responsive client service through effective written and verbal communication. Recognize fiduciary risk issues and apply sound judgment in compliance with internal policies to support prudent risk management. Cultivate relationships with referral sources and external advisors to build the business and represent Northern Trust through community and professional organizations. Travel as appropriate to meet client service and new business development needs. Teach and mentor less experienced partners, advise on fiduciary issues, and serve as a subject matter expert on complex relationships.
