Job Summary
Senior Rehabilitation Consultant role delivering vocational assessments and rehabilitation counselling across schemes (Life Insurance, NSW workers compensation, Comcare, Lifetime Care, CTP) for PHSA; responsibilities include Vocational Assessments, Vocational and Rehabilitation Counselling, Workplace Discussions and Case Conferencing with allied health professionals, preparing clients for work readiness, and coordinating with Employment Placement Specialists to secure work trials and job placements; requires AHPRA registration (or ASORC), strong communication, minimum 2 years in occupation rehabilitation and vocational assessments, and a valid driver's licence; hybrid work arrangement offered in Wollongong, NSW.
Required Qualifications
- Full or Provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or full membership with ASORC (Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors)
- Minimum 2 years experience within occupation rehabilitation
- Minimum 2 years experience completing vocational assessments
- Have a current driver's licence and motor vehicle
