Senior Regulatory Reporting & Reconciliation Specialist

Job Summary
Own Regulatory Compliance by leading the preparation and submission of regulatory reports for PIDM and BNM, ensuring all filings are accurate, timely, and compliant. Lead the Reconciliation Team as the subject matter expert, managing day-to-day reconciliation operations, overseeing GL account monitoring, and driving excellence. Drive Process Innovation by using data analytics to uncover insights, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement process improvements using Lean/Agile/Design Thinking. Scale Operational Efficiency by enhancing workflows to support bank growth. Partner with Data Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure data integrity and seamless reporting workflows. While technical tools like Python or JavaScript are highly valued for automation, a minimum of 4 years' experience in Reconciliation and Regulatory Reporting is required. This role supports GXBank's mission to serve underserved Malaysians through innovative financial solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Reconciliation and/or Regulatory Reporting
- Strong background in Payments or Card Operations
- Strong financial domain knowledge
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript to manage data workflows
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and upskill operational analysts in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and process improvement
- Comfortable using modern frameworks like Lean Six Sigma or Design Thinking to turn operational data into actionable business strategy
- Thriving in an environment where things move fast and requirements evolve
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) for performance tracking
- Ability to leverage technical tools (such as Python or JavaScript) to automate manual tasks and build prototypes
