Job Summary
Manage all regulatory needs to register and maintain a portfolio of active constituents and end-use products for Nufarm's sales in New Zealand. Develop and implement regulatory strategies for a portfolio of NZ products while working on maintenance and defence activities that align with key crops. Represent the NZ Regulatory team internally and externally on matters related to regulatory science and key crops, including assembling, formatting, and submitting registration dossiers to negotiate favourable business outcomes with regulators. Ensure product labels comply with legislative requirements and provide regulatory expertise to promote product line performance and ensure compliance with applicable pesticide laws. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key regulatory bodies and stakeholders that influence regulatory policies.
Required Qualifications
- Senior regulatory professional or mid level regulatory scientist
- Qualified and experienced Technical or Regulatory professional
- Good understanding of the Agricultural industry
- Strong previous experience with ACVM
- Strong previous experience with EPA
- Analytical and compliance minded
- Excellent business insight
- Demonstrated ability applying for, and being granted, product registrations for new innovative chemistry
- Demonstrated ability applying for, and being granted, complex label additions of major new crops
- Knowledge to manage all required Regulatory needs
- Ability to develop and implement regulatory strategies
- Ability to defend or promote products
- Ability to represent the NZ Regulatory team internally and externally
- Ability to assemble, format and submit registration dossiers and other regulatory documents
- Ability to negotiate favourable business outcomes with regulators
- Ability to ensure product labels comply with legislative requirements
- Ability to provide regulatory expertise and insights
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with key regulatory bodies and stakeholders
- Ability to deliver timely registrations
