Job Summary
Senior Regulatory Data Specialist, Water Resources, responsible for end-to-end management of abstraction licences across the Anglian Water region, leading compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting, managing licence applications/ renewals/ variations/ transfers/ revocations, and overseeing abstraction licence financials. Must ensure data integrity and robust processes, collaborate with external bodies (e.g., Environment Agency), and communicate complex regulatory information across the business. Requires strong data analysis, regulatory interpretation, stakeholder engagement, organisational skills, and experience with large datasets and financial oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience working with large datasets
- Data analysis
- Interpretation of regulatory, legal, and licence documentation
- Experience managing regulatory submissions and compliance processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience owning large and complex financial processes and budget oversight
- Experience with telemetry systems (desirable)
- Experience in water resource management or environmental assessment (desirable)
