Job Summary
Conduct in-person nursing assignments across diverse Ontario government facilities, including hospitals, community care, and long-term care settings. Maintain current BLS/BCLS/CPR certification and adhere to Ontario health legislation including PHIPA, RHPA, and the Hospitals Act. Provide clinical leadership by mentoring newer nurses and orienting staff while ensuring compliance with CNO standards and a clean disciplinary record. Select specific job releases based on availability, with competitive hourly rates ranging from $70 to $85. Choose facility locations within the Region of Your Choice, as no commitment to a single site is required.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of RN practice
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing — RN diploma or BScN
- CNO registered, in good standing — no pending hearings or conditions
- Broad knowledge of Ontario health legislation from years of Ontario practice: PHIPA, RHPA, HCCA, Ontario Hospitals Act
- No CNO disciplinary history
- Current BLS / BCLS / CPR certification — Level C, Health Care Provider
- Legal right to work in Canada
- Available for in-person assignments — this is not remote work
