Job Summary
Conduct in-person assignments at Ontario government facilities across the province, selecting jobs as they are released. Maintain 12+ years of RN practice with a broad clinical background spanning hospital, community, or long-term care settings. Ensure compliance with Ontario health legislation including PHIPA, RHPA, and the Ontario Hospitals Act while holding current BLS/BCLS/CPR certification. Leverage experience in multiple care settings to provide mentorship and orient newer nurses. Earn competitive pay ranging from $70 to $85 per hour with no requirement to commit to a single facility.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of RN practice
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing — RN diploma or BScN
- CNO registered, in good standing — no pending hearings or conditions
- No CNO disciplinary history
- Current BLS / BCLS / CPR certification — Level C, Health Care Provider
- Legal right to work in Canada
- Available for in-person assignments — this is not remote work
- Broad knowledge of Ontario health legislation from years of Ontario practice: PHIPA, RHPA, HCCA, Ontario Hospitals Act
