Job Summary
Hunt and close net-new distributor, EPC, and installer accounts across residential and commercial markets in the Northeast. Own territory strategy from target identification to account growth while navigating complex, multi-decision-maker B2B sales. Deliver hands-on product and sales training for partner teams and provide field intelligence on positioning, pricing, and the competitive landscape. Travel 50–70% within the region for site evaluations and trade shows. This role drives revenue growth for Fortress Power, an established solar and energy storage company entering its next phase of expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing net-new technical B2B accounts
- Closing performance near the top of the field
- 5+ years in technical B2B sales or sales management
- Solar / energy storage industry experience
- Working knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and battery storage
- Knowledge of the distributor and installer landscape
- Self-direction
- Mobility to be based in the Northeast
- Ability to travel roughly 50–70% within the region
- Experience hunting and closing net-new distributor, EPC, and installer accounts
- Ability to develop territory strategy
- Experience with complex, multi-decision-maker B2B sales
- Experience growing across both residential and commercial channels
- Ability to provide hands-on product and sales training for partners' teams
- Ability to provide field intelligence back to product and marketing
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a technical discipline
