Job Summary
Manage all communities in assigned portfolio to achieve financial and operational goals through monthly variance reporting, reforecasting, and capital planning. Oversee site and property managers while conducting performance reviews, quarterly conversations, and annual evaluations to foster team growth. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures across micro and macro levels by performing continual property inspections, resolving deficiencies, and monitoring audits. Maintain vendor relationships, approve expenditures, and coordinate training across marketing, compliance, and accounting functions. Represent portfolio with local PHAs, state agencies, and the Apartment Association. This role requires 80% travel with frequent overnight stays and reports to the Senior Regional Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- 3+ years of housing experience in a leadership position
- managing a portfolio of properties
- Previous financial reporting

- Ability to be exposed to the elements
- lift, pull, push, bend (up to 50 pounds)
- ability to walk across a multitude of surfaces
- exposure to basic household chemicals with occasional need for PPE due to construction chemicals or higher-level chemicals being used

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Any Affordable Housing Certification (CAHEC)
- 4+ years of affordable housing experience
