Senior Regional Contracts Manager

Job Summary
Oversee and manage the day-to-day functions of the Contracts group; draft, edit and review contract language, terms and conditions, indemnification clauses, and amendments. Negotiate directly with customers, project managers, purchasing staff, and attorneys. Conduct risk assessments and assist with drafting plans to mitigate risks. Serve as first point-of-contact for legal advice regarding issues within NRF Southeast and South Central regions, elevating to Corporate Legal as needed. Collaborate with sales, project management, customers, billing, accounting, and Contracts/Legal Department on project-related issues. Train sales and project management teams on contractual terms and risk management. Review customer-issued documents for project scope and pricing accuracy, redlining changes using Bluebeam and Microsoft Word. Facilitate and monitor review of letters of intent, contracts, NDAs, change orders, and other documents by Contracts/Legal. Provide monthly status updates to regional leadership on shipments, job progress, invoicing, pricing adjustments, change order management, and job completion. Work with regional support locations and the central administrative office in Lexington, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum three years of experience reviewing or assisting with construction project-related documents such as bids, purchase orders, subcontracts, letters of intent, change orders, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Working knowledge of construction project lifecycle and construction industry
- Understanding of basic contractual risk transfer concepts in the construction industry
- Solid reading, writing, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
