Job Summary
Senior Recruiter role based in Calgary to lead full-cycle talent acquisition for all Canadian operations. The successful candidate will partner with hiring managers to forecast hiring demand, develop proactive recruitment strategies, and manage the complete candidate lifecycle from screening to offers. Responsibilities include strategic partnership with Canadian business units, sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter and professional networks, maintaining a strong talent pipeline, representing the organization in the marketplace, coordinating interviews, extending offers in collaboration with HR, tracking recruitment metrics, ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and coaching/training hiring managers. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of technical recruitment experience, proficiency with modern sourcing tools and ATS, ability to advise leaders, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, with preferred 7–10 years in a staffing agency environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- minimum of seven years of progressive full-cycle technical recruitment experience
- proven success recruiting for technical and professional roles within engineering, architecture, or construction environments
- strong expertise in modern sourcing strategies and proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems
- ability to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a track record of developing recruitment solutions
- experience designing and delivering hiring manager training programs focused on interviewing and selection best practices
- in-depth knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, including federal and provincial compliance requirements
