Job Summary
Senior Recruiter/Internship Coordinator responsible for overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and management of interns and temporary staff across clinical and corporate departments. Build talent pipelines through partnerships with colleges, universities, training programs, and workforce development organizations; support recruitment for clinical and corporate internships, temporary staffing, and workforce development initiatives; source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates using ATS and recruitment tools; manage onboarding, documentation, background checks, compliance, and HR records; collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and ensure successful placement and engagement of interns and temporary staff; participate in recruitment events, employer branding, and outreach; maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and positive candidate experience; requires Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–3 years of experience in recruiting or HR; preferred experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings, onboarding, and payroll/benefits coordination; strong communication and organizational skills; proficient with ATS and HRIS systems; ability to present to students and educational partners; temporary-to-hire basis with Union, NJ location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing coordination, internship coordination, talent acquisition, or human resources
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment pipelines simultaneously
- Experience coordinating interviews, recruitment events, or internship programs
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with labor regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and web-based recruiting tools
- Knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing practices preferred
- Experience with healthcare staffing or behavioral healthcare environments
- Experience conducting virtual interviews and online recruitment initiatives
- Familiarity with workforce development programs and educational partnership coordination
- Social media recruitment and employer branding experience
- Ability to develop engaging internship and recruitment initiatives
