Job Summary
Manage and oversee records management activities in accordance with DoD, DISA, NARA, and federal policies. Develop, implement, and maintain records management procedures, file plans, and retention schedules. Ensure proper creation, maintenance, storage, retrieval, and disposition of electronic and physical records. Conduct inventories, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure regulatory adherence. Provide guidance and training to government personnel on policies and best practices. Coordinate disposition, transfer, and archival activities. Support inspections, audits, and litigation or FOIA requests by locating required records. Prepare reports and metrics related to program performance. This contingent role requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of federal records experience, and working knowledge of DoD regulations. Located in Fort Meade with travel required.
Required Qualifications

- Travel Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Five (5) or more years of records management experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies
- Working knowledge of DoD records management policies, Federal Records Act, NARA regulations, and applicable DoD Instructions
- Experience with electronic records management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention detail
