Job Summary
Senior Record To Report Accountant responsible for monthly reconciliations (including suspense accounts and FX movements), feeder systems reconciliation, and monthly accounting for VAT, pensions, brokerage, expenses, fixed assets and salary bookings. Handles IFRS financial reporting for the Group, consolidation, intercompany bookings and ad-hoc reporting; prepares monthly management reports and financial statements, supports year-end audits, and advocates continuous improvement within the CPI/Lean framework. Requires IFRS/BE-GAAP experience, SAP proficiency, advanced Excel, and Part Qualified/Qualified status (CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent; 3–5+ years in GL/R2R with English proficiency. Open to hybrid work in Bucharest, Romania, within Allianz Trade’s multinational environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree and/or Masters Degree in the Financial field
- Fully computer literate, advanced Excel and experience of accounting packages (SAP)
- Knowledge about IFRS
- Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent
- Good knowledge in English
- Experience of financial reporting in a Group environment and of monthly financial & accounting processes
- Extended experience in GL Accounting and other R2R processes
- Accounting experience of 3-5 years or more
