Senior Reactor System Design Engineer

Senior Reactor System Design Engineer leading the development of complex process and mechanical system designs across the Reactor Island. Translate high-level requirements into robust, evidence-based designs that meet regulatory and safety expectations; contribute to lifecycle work from concept to licensing support; provide technical leadership to a small team and collaborate with regulators, internal teams and external partners to resolve challenges and maintain programme momentum; produce high-quality design documentation and support safety cases and regulatory submissions. Must have proven experience in delivering design work in nuclear or other highly regulated or safety-critical industries, and demonstrate strong systems engineering, requirements management, and capability to lead engineers while driving continuous improvement.
