Job Summary
Own end-to-end mobile development across iOS and Android on our React Native / Expo stack, building shared infrastructure for push notifications, analytics, media streaming, and subscription flows. Architect scalable codebases that integrate AI-powered features like streamed LLM responses and generative content while collaborating with product and design to ship high-quality, pixel-perfect experiences. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality standards, working closely with the CTO to set engineering patterns for future hires. This role supports multiple creator-led apps within a remote-first, async culture where the team ships constantly without endless planning cycles. You will work on live products with real users under an equity-aligned model that allows you to co-own the products you build.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years building and shipping production React Native apps on iOS and Android
- Deep expertise with Expo (managed and bare workflows), React Navigation, and state management
- Experience with Reanimated, Skia, and Apollo Client
- Solid understanding of push notifications (APNs / FCM), background processing, and app lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with Supabase or similar BaaS, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with RevenueCat or other in-app subscription platforms
- Strong TypeScript skills and a high bar for code quality
- Comfortable working async in a remote-first team with strong written communication
