Job Summary
Senior React Native Engineer responsible for building and maintaining two React Native applications for European and U.S. markets (iOS and Android). Collaborate with domain experts to deliver mobile-native solutions within a decentralized, embedded-team model. Responsibilities include integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL, third-party SDKs, native module development, unit testing with Jest/Enzyme, E2E tests, CI/CD with GitLab/Fastlane/Expo EAS, monitoring with Datadog/Firebase Crashlytics, applying mobile security practices, and leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development. The role emphasizes delivering mobile-first features across Europe and the U.S., with flexible remote/office-based work options and education reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 3 years as a React Native developer, with a strong record of delivering high-quality, performant mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, general experience 4-5+ years
- Proficiency in React Native, React Hooks, Redux, Nx (or similar tools), and TypeScript
- App lifecycle expertise: integration, testing, code signing, deployment to app stores, CI/CD pipelines like GitLab, Fastlane, Expo EAS
- RESTful APIs and GraphQL, integrating third-party SDKs and libraries
- Monitoring and debugging with Datadog or Firebase Crashlytics
- Security practices: OAuth, JWT, encryption, data privacy compliance
- Native module management for iOS and Android
- Testing: Jest and Enzyme; E2E testing tools like Detox or Maestro
- Design systems and Storybook
- English communication skills (B2+)
- AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor or Claude code)
