Job Summary
Senior Rail Vehicle Electrical Engineer - Software responsible for leading the Vehicle Electrical Engineering group in rail transit software development and QA. Responsibilities include developing technical specifications for software in rail vehicle equipment, applying IEEE and EN standards to procurements, evaluating supplier proposals, conducting software quality assurance audits, witnessing software and system-level tests, coordinating reviews across projects, and mentoring engineers in software innovations including AI tools.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software engineering and software quality assurance
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical client personnel
- EIT/PE is desirable but not required
