Job Summary
Senior Rail Traction Power / Substation Engineer needed to join AECOM's Electrification & Power team. You will deliver traction power and substation design across feasibility, outline and detailed design, perform independent technical checks, provide guidance to designers and junior engineers, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and support construction through site visits and design reviews. The role emphasizes technical oversight, development of engineers, and ensuring design outputs comply with standards and project requirements, with opportunities to work on international projects and in hybrid/hub offices.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in traction power and high voltage substation design
- Experience delivering projects across feasibility, outline and detailed design stages
- Experience acting as CRE / Lead Engineer is advantageous
- Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and design governance
- Low voltage experience desirable but not essential
