Job Summary
Senior Rail Engineer Program Manager to lead business development and delivery of major rail and transit programs, establish and grow a local engineering team, and oversee technical, legal, and financial aspects of programs. The role requires fostering client relationships, driving project delivery, and expanding PM services on the Pacific Northwest and West Coast. Core responsibilities include leading a major program team, supervising multiple organizational segments, recommending facilities, personnel, and funds for program implementation, and ensuring objectives and requirements are met within an office-team environment. Key skills include relationship development with clients, strong written and oral communication, persuasion and negotiation, and proficiency with standard office applications. Education and experience requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program, 15+ years of experience, 5+ years as a program manager, strong business development capabilities, and established relationships with railroad clients; a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and PE certification are preferred.
