Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain software models that simulate or emulate real-world adversarial Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) systems within TMAP STIMS 2.0, STIMS 3.0, and LIVE frameworks. Perform subsystem and system-level modeling based on all-source intelligence data, developing algorithms for active/passive detection, signal processing chains, clutter mitigation, and adaptive beamforming. Conduct engineering analysis of real-world threat weapon systems to inform the software model lifecycle, including development, maintenance, and study support. Track requirements to ensure alignment with customer objectives and collaborate within an agile team to mentor junior developers. Requires active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI; Bachelor's or Master's degree with 15+ years of experience in Radar, RF, and weapon systems modeling.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with modeling and simulation of weapon systems, including Radar, Directed Energy Weapons, Surface-to-Air Missile Systems, RF Jammers, Missile Seekers, and/or Anti-Satellite weapons
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- 17+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with EO/IR systems
- Experience modeling threat weapon systems in TMAP, ODESSA, ESAMS, AFSIM, LIVE, and/or ITASE
- Experience with STIMS 2.0 (Simulink), STIMS 3.0 (C++), and/or LIVE modeling frameworks/standards
- Software development experience in a DevOps or DevSecOps environment
- Experience working in an AGILE software development team
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Experience designing, developing, or operating code for distributed processing environments
- Experience working with environmental datasets and RF propagation
