Senior Radar Algorithm Engineer

Job Summary
Develop and deploy advanced algorithms for air-to-air radar systems in contested electronic warfare environments, owning the full lifecycle from concept through production-ready implementation. Design, implement, and validate radar mode logic in Python or Rust, ensuring robust performance across simulation, chamber testing, captive flight, and live-fire scenarios. Operate within a disciplined software engineering environment using version control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines. This role requires direct experience with air-to-air radar systems and signal processing, with the ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends. Based in Allen, TX, full-time onsite presence is required, and obtaining a U.S. government security clearance is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field
- Direct experience with air-to-air radar systems and associated algorithms
- Strong background in signal processing, detection, tracking, and radar modes
- Proficiency in Python and/or Rust, with experience writing production-quality code
- Ability to operate in a disciplined software engineering environment (e.g., Git, code reviews, testing, issue tracking tools like Jira)
- Ability to put in extended hours, including evenings and weekends, when required to meet aggressive timelines
- This role is based in Allen, TX and requires full-time onsite presence
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government–issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship

- Background in taking algorithms from concept through deployment on hardware systems
- Familiarity with radar system calibration, integration, and test across multiple environments
- Experience building scalable, maintainable software architectures for real-time systems
