Job Summary
Senior R&D Systems Engineer responsible for leading the architectural definition of networked EW systems, bridging RF hardware, embedded software, and distributed networking architectures. Roles include MBSE implementation, requirements management, technical documentation (SDD, ICDs, ConOps, Test Plans), integration leadership across RF/FPGA/Software/Mechanical teams, simulation modeling (MATLAB/Python), and collaboration to balance performance, SWaP, and cost. Travel for team meetings is expected; position is based in West Los Angeles with a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days onsite per week).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
Additional Requirements
- U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts
- Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire
