Job Summary
Senior R&D Software Engineer to design and implement embedded software for networked EW systems; responsibilities include software architecture, CI/CD, system integration with RF subsystems, cross-organizational collaboration, translating signal processing and networking algorithms to C/C++, code reviews and mentorship, and occasional travel to headquarters. 100% remote work is possible depending on location; travel to Los Angeles, CA or other locations expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience with embedded systems
- Expert proficiency in C/C++ and Python
- Deep understanding of embedded Linux
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong familiarity with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies
- Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts
- Background check and drug test clearance required
