Job Summary
Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects while analyzing costs to identify savings opportunities. Monitor expenditures, prepare tender documents including bills of quantities, and evaluate contractor bids for award recommendations. Collaborate with the PMC team to ensure milestones are met within budget and schedule, managing contracts and variations to ensure compliance. Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to provide cost-related insights and regular updates on project delivery. This role supports a major public realm development in Diriyah featuring iconic parks and extensive streetscape, focusing on creating an inclusive environment that enhances community well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably with exposure to PMC roles
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration
- Familiarity with design review processes and ability to identify cost implications
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, cost management tools)
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Certification in RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent is a plus
