Job Summary
Manage project finances from early contractor involvement through handover, ensuring robust cost management and accurate reporting to support commercial decisions. Monitor efficiency plans across the lifecycle, challenge team members to drive best value, and advise on contractual arrangements to mitigate risks. Provide guidance to junior staff while maintaining strong client relationships and clear communication. Ensure projects are financially viable and legally compliant while supporting net zero and resilience schemes across Scotland.
Required Qualifications
- Preferably a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience and knowledge of NEC Contracts
- A practical mindset
- Good math skills
- The ability to solve problems
- Manage project finances
- Flexibility and adaptiveness to work in client environments to meet the needs of the projects
- A valid driving licence
- Willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
