Job Summary
ISG is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Reading, UK. The role involves leading the commercial aspects of large construction projects, focusing on profit margin and performance improvement. Candidates should have main contractor experience and a background in managing diverse project types.
Required Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in a building related subject
- Main contractor experience within the Construction market
- Direct experience of different project types
- Experience of different contracts forms including management forms, 2 stage, single stage and Design & Build
- Experience as a Lead Surveyor on projects ranging between £10m to £50m
- Demonstrably commercially focused with a proven track record of delivering high quality results
Desired Qualifications
- Recognised chartership with MCIOB or MRICS is preferable
- Experience in claims resolution both with the Employer and Sub-Contractor
- Experience in establishing, managing and leading a large project team and/or multiple smaller project teams
