Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager – Data Center Construction

Job Summary
Senior Quantity Surveyor to act as the key client interface for a major, multi-phase data center construction program. Develop detailed cost plans and estimates through design and delivery phases for a large-scale campus; produce monthly cost reports and funding information; coordinate cost data from design teams, GCs, subs, and vendors; lead change-order management; support cost risk analysis and contingency tracking; ensure integration of cost, schedule, and scope with project controls; participate in procurement strategy and commercial negotiations; mentor junior team members; on-site presence may be required and is subject to client needs; responsibilities emphasize leadership, cost management, value engineering, and stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
- 5–7+ years of relevant experience in construction cost management on medium to large-scale projects of moderate to high complexity
- Data center construction experience, or experience in mission-critical, high-tech, industrial, semiconductor, or other large-scale technical facilities is strongly preferred
- Construction consulting experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of cost planning, procurement routes, commercial management, value management, and value engineering
- RICS accreditation or progress toward certification preferred
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with industry-standard cost management tools and software
