Job Summary
The Senior Quality Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing performance and automation tests. Responsibilities include taking ownership of test automation strategies, ensuring software quality through automated test cases, identifying and documenting software bugs, collaborating with the QA team, and participating in daily stand-ups. Candidates should have more than 3 years of experience in Javascript, with a strong focus on automating complex API and UI workflows, along with experience in testing mobile applications and using bug-tracking tools.
Required Qualifications
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team working and critical thinking skills
- Advanced programming/technical skills in Appium, Javascript , NodeJS, Mocha, Webdriver.io
- Demonstrated experience in automating complex stateful API and UI workflows
- Deep understanding of how to design and execute automated tests that identify security vulnerabilities
- Demonstrated experience in automating complex mobile applications both Hybrid and native
- Experience using JIRA to view and update testing tickets/requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in using Postman and Figma
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience working with JIRA
