Senior Quality Technician

Job Summary
The Senior Quality Technician analyzes quality data to identify trends, defects, and root causes while supporting corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and maintaining quality documentation. This role collaborates with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and supports new product development by reviewing quality claims and trends. The technician contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, demonstrates hands-on problem solving with data-driven analysis, and prepares reports to drive improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or engineering environment
- Working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar standards
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools (Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Experience with root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA)
- Experience working with suppliers and customer quality requirements
