Job Summary
Senior Quality Technician responsible for analysis of process samples and water analysis, troubleshooting/calibrating QC Lab equipment, preparing certificates of analysis (COA) for shipments, approving raw materials, coordinating sample analyses, meeting OTIF objectives, communicating results within the Quality Department and with other departments, conducting routine final shipment analyses, working with Plant Chemists and Quality Manager to track and improve quality indicators, reporting instrumentation issues, participating in internal auditing and Gage R&R studies, interacting with EHS regarding chemical waste disposal, contributing to training and SOPs, and assisting with set-up and execution of routine/ad-hoc testing.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma with the equivalent combination of advanced education and work experience required.
- An accredited Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology preferred.
